MODEL Health &Weight Management Center, an HMR® Program, is located in the North Pavilion at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. HMR® is the nation's leading provider of weightloss treatment to the medical community. We strive to help you become healthier by teaching the skills necessary for long term weight management. Our program is physician directed.
The Decision-Free Diet™ uses HMR Shakes, Entrees and BeneFit Bars and provides you with all the food you need to lose weight.The Healthy Solutions® diet includes the use of fruits and vegetables combined with HMR® Shakes and Entrees. Based on your medical history and weight loss goals, we will work together to determine the appropriate program for you.
If you wanted a comprehensive program, each week you will be attending a behavior modification class where we teach you skills to take off and manage your weight. Our staff will coach, motivate and educate you to implement these skills on a regular basis while living in a culture that does not support weight management. During our initial meeting, we will assess your goals,medical history, and activity level then help you determine which program will work best for you!
